Editorial Policy – NickFreeFire

NickFreeFire’s editorial policy explains how the NickFreeFire Editorial Team checks every Free Fire name, symbol and rename fact before publishing it: what counts as a test, how results are recorded as works, blocked or shows as a box, when facts are re-checked, and how corrections are logged with their date.

Who writes and checks

All pages are written and reviewed by the NickFreeFire Editorial Team; you can read more on the about NickFreeFire page. We do not publish under invented names, and when a named reviewer joins, their name will replace the team byline.

How a symbol or name is tested

1. The exact text is pasted into the Free Fire rename screen, without spending a rename card.
2. We record the device (phone model), the game build (for example OB55) and the date.
3. The result is written as one of three states: works (saved and shown correctly), blocked (the game refuses the name) or shows as a box (saved but the character is not drawn).
4. Results sent by readers are added only when they include the device, build and date, and after a second check where possible.

When something is not tested

If no dated test exists, the page says “not yet tested” and explains what evidence would settle it. We never turn a guess into a result.

Re-check schedule

Rename facts (cost, menu path, cooldowns) are re-checked every 180 days. Symbol results are re-tested when a new Free Fire build changes the name filter. Old results stay on the log with their build, so you can see what changed.

Hindi, Urdu, Bangla and Gujarati text

Text in these scripts is reproduced byte for byte from its source. We never retype it, “tidy” its spacing or swap look-alike characters, because a mangled phrase is a factual error.

What we never publish

• Name change apps, card hacks, “register” forms or anything that asks for your account.
• Abusive, sexual, caste-based, communal, self-harm or impersonating names.
• Claims that Garena approves a symbol or script.

How do I report a wrong result?

Email [email protected] with the name, your device, game build and date. Corrections go into the changelog.

Why do most names say “not yet tested”?

Because we only record a result after a dated test. That keeps every result checkable.

Do you accept payment to list names or apps?

No. Nothing on the site is paid placement.
